The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) is a US commercial + defence aerospace prime organized into Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS), and Boeing Global Services (BGS). Defence autonomy flagship is the MQ-25A Stingray — the US Navy's first carrier-launched autonomous aerial-refueling drone, whose first production-representative aircraft flew autonomously on April 25, 2026 (taxi/takeoff/flight/landing) under an initial $805M Engineering Development Model contract. Subsidiaries include Insitu (acquired 2008; ScanEagle, RQ-21A Blackjack — sale process announced 2025). BDS also produces P-8 Poseidon, V-22 Osprey, AH-64 Apache (Mesa, AZ), and the Wedgetail AEW&C.
